00:00 - 00:03

personally and every other way is very

00:01 - 00:06

very strong and very very good so I just

00:03 - 00:09

want to welcome you to Washington DC and

00:06 - 00:11

to our country and thank you very much

00:09 - 00:13

may I thank you president it's a great

00:11 - 00:16

honor for me to be here uh to celebrate

00:13 - 00:18

St Patrick's uh with you uh and I thank

00:16 - 00:21

you for your hospitality uh and the

00:18 - 00:23

warmth of your reception uh and I

00:21 - 00:24

commend you uh in terms of the work that

00:23 - 00:27

you're doing particularly in terms of

00:24 - 00:30

the pursuit of Peace which we discussed

00:27 - 00:33

earlier uh and I think that's going well

00:30 - 00:35

uh and you really have um in the first

00:33 - 00:38

sort of 100 years of this

00:35 - 00:40

uh government you've done it some explor

00:38 - 00:42

things very quickly thank everybody's

00:40 - 00:43

watching in that respect so thank you

00:42 - 00:45

the pleasure to be here it's an honor to

00:43 - 00:46

be here well it's a great honor to have

00:45 - 00:47

you in terms of the work that you're

00:46 - 00:50

doing particularly in terms of the

00:47 - 00:52

pursuit of Peace which we discussed

00:50 - 00:55

earlier uh and I think that's going I

00:52 - 00:57

know a couple of your people that used

00:55 - 00:59

to live in that beautiful Ireland and

00:57 - 01:01

now uh they're here but they love your

00:59 - 01:03

country very much you know that's they

01:01 - 01:05

have a great they have a great feeling

01:03 - 01:07

toward your country they have and they a

01:05 - 01:09

lot come back for holidays and stuff

01:07 - 01:12

like that checking out their

01:09 - 01:14

family ancestry and things like that

01:12 - 01:17

great fantastic people some go to Doom

01:14 - 01:19

as well yeah and they we love junb I

01:17 - 01:21

love them I don't know if I'll ever see

01:19 - 01:23

it again maybe I won't but I I think I

01:21 - 01:25

will we we'll get there we're going to

01:23 - 01:30

get there it's a beautiful place

01:25 - 01:32

wonderful place uh any questions pleas

01:30 - 01:35

yeah please checking out their

01:32 - 01:37

family ancestry and things like that

01:35 - 01:38

great fantastic people some go to dunb

01:37 - 01:41

as

01:38 - 01:43

well we love do I love that I don't know

01:41 - 01:45

if I'll ever see it again maybe I won't

01:43 - 01:48

but think I

01:45 - 01:49

will well I don't think he looks nervous

01:48 - 01:51

to

01:49 - 01:55

me and if he was nervous he wouldn't

01:51 - 01:57

show it now I we do have a massive uh

01:55 - 02:00

deficit with Ireland because Ireland was

01:57 - 02:01

very smart they took our Pharmaceutical

02:00 - 02:04

companies away from presidents that

02:01 - 02:06

didn't know what they were doing and you

02:04 - 02:09

know it's too bad that happened it's a

02:06 - 02:12

tremendous job I I give look the Irish

02:09 - 02:15

is smart he smart people and you took

02:12 - 02:17

our pharmaceutical companies and other

02:15 - 02:20

companies but you know through taxation

02:17 - 02:22

and proper taxation they made it very

02:20 - 02:24

very good for companies to move over

02:22 - 02:26

there and we had presidents and and

02:24 - 02:27

people that were involved in this that

02:26 - 02:31

had no idea what they were doing and

02:27 - 02:34

they lost big segments of our economy

02:31 - 02:37

uh the European Union treats us very

02:34 - 02:39

badly they have for years I saw that I

02:37 - 02:41

had it out with them in my first term

02:39 - 02:46

did well but we had to solve other

02:41 - 02:47

problems and we did but uh European

02:46 - 02:51

Union's been very

02:47 - 02:53

tough and it's our turn too you know we

02:51 - 02:55

we get a turn at that also but they have

02:53 - 02:57

not been Fair they sue our companies and

02:55 - 03:01

uh win massive amounts of money they

02:57 - 03:04

sued Apple won 17 billion ion dollar and

03:01 - 03:07

they use that for other reasons I guess

03:04 - 03:10

or to run the so whatever they charge us

03:07 - 03:11

would we're charging them nobody can

03:10 - 03:13

complain about that whatever it is it

03:11 - 03:17

doesn't even matter what it is if they

03:13 - 03:20

charge us if they charge us uh 25 or 20

03:17 - 03:22

us were we're charging them nobody can

03:20 - 03:24

complain about that whatever it is it

03:22 - 03:28

doesn't even matter what it is if they

03:24 - 03:32

charge us if they charge us uh 25 or 20%

03:28 - 03:35

or 10% or 2% or 200% then that's what

03:32 - 03:37

we're charging them and uh so I don't

03:35 - 03:39

know why people get upset about that

03:37 - 03:42

because there's nothing more fair than

03:39 - 03:45

that and we uh we had a problem with

03:42 - 03:47

Ontario and they dropped that uh when I

03:45 - 03:48

let them know what we were going to be

03:47 - 03:50

doing they dropped it immediately so I'm

03:48 - 03:52

glad because electricity shouldn't be

03:50 - 03:55

playing with electricity it affects

03:52 - 03:57

people's lives they're they uh actually

03:55 - 03:59

their life I mean it can affect

03:57 - 04:02

depending on weather can affect their

03:59 - 04:04

life so we can't do that uh and it

04:02 - 04:07

doesn't make sense that our country

04:04 - 04:09

allows electricity to be made in another

04:07 - 04:11

country and sold into us who did that

04:09 - 04:14

deal for the United States okay I looked

04:11 - 04:16

at that long ago and I said that's not

04:14 - 04:19

something that's very smart so we've had

04:16 - 04:23

a lot of bad trade policies and yet uh

04:19 - 04:24

we're doing very well right now but

04:23 - 04:26

we're doing well because I won the

04:24 - 04:29

election if I didn't win the election

04:26 - 04:31

you would have had a a very bad period I

04:29 - 04:33

think a lot of the stock market going

04:31 - 04:35

down was because of a really bad four

04:33 - 04:37

years that we had when you look at

04:35 - 04:39

inflation and all of the other problems

04:37 - 04:41

that I mean Wars and inflation and so

04:39 - 04:43

many other problems but we're going to

04:41 - 04:45

have very good years we're going to have

04:43 - 04:47

we had uh I don't know if you saw a

04:45 - 04:49

little thing like the cost of eggs

04:47 - 04:51

little to you but big to people out

04:49 - 04:55

there down almost

04:51 - 04:57

30% in the last uh few days we got it

04:55 - 05:00

down we did a lot of things we have a

04:57 - 05:01

great secretary of agriculture and uh we

05:00 - 05:03

did a lot of things that got the cost of

05:01 - 05:05

eggs down very

05:03 - 05:07

substantially and so many other things a

05:05 - 05:09

very big thing that I'm very happy with

05:07 - 05:12

is oil is down to

05:09 - 05:14

$65 a barrel and that's faster than I

05:12 - 05:17

would have ATT we we put on the gas we

05:14 - 05:20

stepped in the gas and order to get oil

05:17 - 05:21

and uh what's what's happening so we're

05:20 - 05:24

getting that down and when energy comes

05:21 - 05:27

down prices are going to be coming down

05:24 - 05:29

with it so in a very short period of

05:27 - 05:33

time we've done a very good job and I

05:29 - 05:35

think that uh the tariffs that we're

05:33 - 05:37

talking about and again reciprocal I

05:35 - 05:39

think that the tariffs there are some

05:37 - 05:40

cases where they're a little Beyond

05:39 - 05:43

reciprocal because you know we've been

05:40 - 05:45

abused for a long time as a country we

05:43 - 05:49

have been abused really for a long time

05:45 - 05:52

and we will be abused no longer okay are

05:49 - 05:53

you going to retaliate retali the

05:52 - 05:55

Department of Education during your

05:53 - 05:57

first term sure I do I feel very badly

05:55 - 05:59

and uh but many of them don't work at

05:57 - 06:01

all responsibility do you feel to the

05:59 - 06:02

Civil servants who have now lost their

06:01 - 06:04

jobs many of them worked at the

06:02 - 06:06

Department of Education during the first

06:04 - 06:08

term sure I do I feel very badly and uh

06:06 - 06:11

but many of them don't work at all many

06:08 - 06:13

of them never showed up to work many of

06:11 - 06:17

them many of them never showed up to

06:13 - 06:20

work Kelly and uh unfortunately and uh

06:17 - 06:22

that's not good and when we cut you know

06:20 - 06:24

we go and that's what I had number of

06:22 - 06:26

meetings with a lot of people over the

06:24 - 06:28

last couple of months when we cut we

06:26 - 06:29

want to cut but we want to cut the

06:28 - 06:32

people that aren't working or doing not

06:29 - 06:35

doing a good job we're keeping the best

06:32 - 06:38

people and uh Linda McMahon is a real

06:35 - 06:41

professional very actually a very

06:38 - 06:42

sophisticated business person and she

06:41 - 06:45

cut a large number but she kept the best

06:42 - 06:48

people and we'll see how it all works

06:45 - 06:50

out but our country was run very badly I

06:48 - 06:52

mean whether it was that or contracts

06:50 - 06:54

that were signed that was so bad so

06:52 - 06:55

obviously bad and I go through them in

06:54 - 06:58

speeches I I could go through them all

06:55 - 07:01

day long I could read for billions and

06:58 - 07:04

hundreds of billions ions of dollars and

07:01 - 07:07

all of that fat and waste and Fraud and

07:04 - 07:08

Abuse is being taken out but it's it's

07:07 - 07:09

incredible what's happened now

07:08 - 07:12

Department of

07:09 - 07:15

Education uh may be more so than any any

07:12 - 07:17

other place has a lot of people that can

07:15 - 07:19

be cut they're number one not showing up

07:17 - 07:22

to work number two they're not doing a

07:19 - 07:25

good job and if you take a look at uh

07:22 - 07:27

take a look at our education process and

07:25 - 07:29

if you look at the charts because they

07:27 - 07:34

have numerous charts where they do the

07:29 - 07:36

top 40 we're at number 37 38 39 and 40

07:34 - 07:39

and recently they hit during Biden's

07:36 - 07:42

last few days they hit last so they were

07:39 - 07:45

number 40 and yet we're number one in

07:42 - 07:47

cost per pupil so it's pretty bad but we

07:45 - 07:48

have a we have a dream and you know what

07:47 - 07:50

the dream is we're going to move the

07:48 - 07:53

Department of Education we're going to

07:50 - 07:55

move education into the states so that

07:53 - 07:57

the states inste of bureaucrats working

07:55 - 08:01

in Washington so that the states can run

07:57 - 08:03

education and you have Norway you have

08:01 - 08:05

Denmark you have Sweden you have uh

08:03 - 08:07

various Finland you have various

08:05 - 08:09

countries that do very well you also

08:07 - 08:11

have China that does very well in

08:09 - 08:14

education which is a pretty big tribute

08:11 - 08:17

to China I must say 1.4 billion and

08:14 - 08:20

they're in the top 10 and it's pretty

08:17 - 08:22

amazing so we can't blame size anymore

08:20 - 08:24

you know normally you'd blame size it's

08:22 - 08:27

too big how can you do it but China does

08:24 - 08:31

it so we think when you move it back to

08:27 - 08:34

Iowa and Indiana and all the states that

08:31 - 08:38

run so well there's so many I could name

08:34 - 08:40

30 maybe almost 40 those will be as good

08:38 - 08:43

as Denmark those will be as good as

08:40 - 08:45

Norway and they'll be as good as any of

08:43 - 08:47

these I believe they'll be as good as

08:45 - 08:48

any now then you're going to have 10

08:47 - 08:50

that won't be so great you're going to

08:48 - 08:52

have five that will not be good at all

08:50 - 08:54

but we'll work with them and we'll get

08:52 - 08:56

them to be good but what we want to do

08:54 - 08:59

is always school choice but we're going

08:56 - 09:01

to do school choice and we're doing it

08:59 - 09:04

but we want education to be moved back

09:01 - 09:07

where the States run education where the

09:04 - 09:09

parents of the children will be running

09:07 - 09:11

education where Governors that are doing

09:09 - 09:14

a very good job will be running

09:11 - 09:17

education not run I I drive through the

09:14 - 09:19

city and I see like so many Buildings

09:17 - 09:21

Department of Education Department of

09:19 - 09:23

big buildings and department and by the

09:21 - 09:26

way they're empty nobody shows up to

09:23 - 09:28

work so I think Linda did a very good

09:26 - 09:31

job do you do you have a meeting with

09:28 - 09:32

Vladimir Putin scheduled or conversation

09:31 - 09:35

what would be your I won't I won't

09:32 - 09:39

comment on that but we had a great uh

09:35 - 09:41

success yesterday uh we have a full

09:39 - 09:43

ceasefire when with both parties

09:41 - 09:45

actually and we'll see we'll be knowing

09:43 - 09:48

uh people are going to Russia right now

09:45 - 09:50

as we speak and hopefully we can get a

09:48 - 09:53

ceasefire from Russia and if we do I

09:50 - 09:55

think that would be 80% of the way to

09:53 - 09:57

getting this horrible blood bath finish

09:55 - 10:02

it's a blood bath is taking place over

09:57 - 10:04

there uh on a average 2 to 3,000 young

10:02 - 10:06

people a week are being killed in that

10:04 - 10:09

stupid war that would have never

10:06 - 10:12

happened if I were president so uh we

10:09 - 10:13

have people going over there Mr VP do

10:12 - 10:15

you have anything to say about it

10:13 - 10:17

because you're very much involved what's

10:15 - 10:19

going happen well we've got uh some

10:17 - 10:21

conversations that are happening on the

10:19 - 10:22

phone and in person with some of our

10:21 - 10:24

Representatives over the next couple of

10:22 - 10:25

days as the president said we think that

10:24 - 10:27

we're in a very good place where the

10:25 - 10:28

ukrainians have agreed to a ceasefire

10:27 - 10:29

and we're now going to see whether we

10:28 - 10:31

can get the Russians to agree to a

10:29 - 10:33

ceasefire too and we'll certainly have

10:31 - 10:35

news on that when we when we find out

10:33 - 10:38

that news

10:35 - 10:40

are will keep the ceas fire considering

10:38 - 10:42

that he's broken them in the past I

10:40 - 10:44

haven't we haven't spoken to him yet

10:42 - 10:46

with substance because we just found out

10:44 - 10:48

and we just were able to get Ukraine to

10:46 - 10:51

agree so we're going to know very soon

10:48 - 10:53

I've gotten some positive messages but a

10:51 - 10:56

positive message means nothing this is a

10:53 - 10:57

very serious situation this is a

10:56 - 11:00

situation that could lead to World War

10:57 - 11:03

II and Biden should have never let it

11:00 - 11:05

happen incompetence allowed this to

11:03 - 11:07

happen this shouldn't have happened

11:05 - 11:11

October 7th in the Middle East should

11:07 - 11:14

have never happened with Israel uh the

11:11 - 11:15

horrible uh leaving the way they left

11:14 - 11:17

Afghanistan should have never happened

11:15 - 11:19

inflation should have never happened you

11:17 - 11:23

know we have great inflation numbers by

11:19 - 11:25

the way just got released inflation is

11:23 - 11:26

way down and it's based on what we've

11:25 - 11:28

done and we've done it in a very short

11:26 - 11:29

period of time you know we had virtually

11:28 - 11:31

no inflation

11:29 - 11:33

for four years we had almost no

11:31 - 11:35

inflation and when these characters took

11:33 - 11:37

over we went from no inflation to the

11:35 - 11:40

worst inflation probably in the history

11:37 - 11:41

of our country so it's h very

11:40 - 11:43

interesting go ahead are you going to

11:41 - 11:46

retaliate against and by the way I have

11:43 - 11:49

to speak of inflation I love these scks

11:46 - 11:49

what's with these

11:51 - 11:57

scks I'm trying to stay focused but I'm

11:54 - 11:57

very impressed with the

11:57 - 12:02

vp's relationship say to you that the

12:00 - 12:04

United States has recognized it's having

12:02 - 12:06

such an important role in the peace

12:04 - 12:07

process and yet half the parties from

12:06 - 12:09

the

12:07 - 12:14

northern

12:09 - 12:17

to they haven't what they haven

12:14 - 12:21

over what are they boycotting they are

12:17 - 12:22

talking about your position on Gaza as

12:21 - 12:24

oh I haven't heard that I really haven't

12:22 - 12:25

heard that look can I just say I got to

12:24 - 12:27

pay tribute to the president on the

12:25 - 12:29

peace initiatives uh the one thing we've

12:27 - 12:31

learned in Ireland about the peace

12:29 - 12:33

process that youve just spoken about and

12:31 - 12:35

I recall back in the early '90s uh when

12:33 - 12:38

the first tentative steps to to get

12:35 - 12:40

peace in Ireland people criticized

12:38 - 12:42

people like John Hume or people like

12:40 - 12:45

Albert Reynolds of then t uh but they

12:42 - 12:47

kept going uh and when we got that ceas

12:45 - 12:48

far in 1993 okay it took a number of

12:47 - 12:51

years to get the comprehensive peace

12:48 - 12:53

settlement but again the guns more or

12:51 - 12:55

less largely went silent the war on

12:53 - 12:58

Ukraine is a devastating war on young

12:55 - 12:59

people and I think that very simple

12:58 - 13:02

straightforward

12:59 - 13:06

narrative is to be commended um we all

13:02 - 13:08

have children I mean we would shocked at

13:06 - 13:11

the prospect of young people losing

13:08 - 13:13

their lives in that number be they

13:11 - 13:15

Ukrainian be they Russian whatever

13:13 - 13:18

anything we can do to stop the violence

13:15 - 13:20

I think is an extremely positive day and

13:18 - 13:21

there will be all sorts of people having

13:20 - 13:23

qualifications on it and all the rest of

13:21 - 13:25

it it's our job then to work on it and

13:23 - 13:27

to try and build it Europe us and

13:25 - 13:29

everything I I will say I will say and

13:27 - 13:33

thank you for that but I will say say

13:29 - 13:36

last week 2,500 young people died while

13:33 - 13:39

we sit here and talk yeah and while they

13:36 - 13:40

talk about uh peace but they've been

13:39 - 13:41

talking about peace this should have

13:40 - 13:43

never happened this war should have

13:41 - 13:44

never happened it would have never

13:43 - 13:46

happened if I was President that's what

13:44 - 13:49

makes me more Angry than anything else

13:46 - 13:51

because you've had far more people die

13:49 - 13:52

than they report than these people

13:51 - 13:55

report for whatever reason but you had

13:52 - 13:57

far more people the numbers are far more

13:55 - 14:01

devastating you'll find that out someday

13:57 - 14:03

and it doesn't affect you very much you

14:01 - 14:06

they're not Irish and they're not from

14:03 - 14:09

my country they're from Russia mostly

14:06 - 14:10

almost all from Russia and from Ukraine

14:09 - 14:12

and people could say why are you doing

14:10 - 14:16

this why are you involved in that D

14:12 - 14:19

because there 2,000 people a week are

14:16 - 14:21

dying and they have families and they

14:19 - 14:23

have mothers and they have fathers and

14:21 - 14:24

they have sisters and they have brothers

14:23 - 14:26

and

14:24 - 14:28

friends and they're dying and I've seen

14:26 - 14:30

the pictures the satellite pictures that

14:28 - 14:32

we see all the time

14:30 - 14:35

and it looks like

14:32 - 14:38

Gettysburg in its prime because that was

14:35 - 14:42

they say one of the most horrific

14:38 - 14:44

battles ever you have kids lying all

14:42 - 14:46

over these fields that are dead because

14:44 - 14:49

the weapons today are unbelievable

14:46 - 14:50

between drones and various types of guns

14:49 - 14:52

I'm not even talking about beyond that

14:50 - 14:54

with the with the big babies you

14:52 - 14:55

understand what I mean I hate to even

14:54 - 14:59

mention the name the nuclear name I hate

14:55 - 15:01

to mention it but you have uh weapons to

14:59 - 15:04

today that are so powerful and I see

15:01 - 15:05

kids every week I see pictures of kids

15:04 - 15:08

laying all over the field dead they're

15:05 - 15:11

dead beautiful kids they're

15:08 - 15:13

dead and they're not from here and

15:11 - 15:15

they're not from where you are but he's

15:13 - 15:17

working very hard we're all working hard

15:15 - 15:19

to get this thing thing finished it's

15:17 - 15:23

crazy over nothing and it's not going to

15:19 - 15:25

go anywhere it's just a terrible

15:23 - 15:27

situation and I think and I think we

15:25 - 15:30

have a chance to get it done so we've

15:27 - 15:33

got we've gotten half of it is a

15:30 - 15:36

ceasefire and if we can get Russia to

15:33 - 15:39

stop then we have a full ceasefire and I

15:36 - 15:41

think uh it'll never go back to War I

15:39 - 15:41

think

15:44 - 15:47

something can I ask you about's

15:46 - 15:49

relationship with Israel there's been a

15:47 - 15:50

lot of talk recently the governments are

15:49 - 15:52

looking to bring in What's called the

15:50 - 15:55

occupied territories buil which would

15:52 - 15:56

ban goods from occupied territories I

15:55 - 15:59

know you met with prime minister iny

15:56 - 16:00

yyah recently did Ireland come up in

15:59 - 16:01

conversation did he rais any concerns

16:00 - 16:04

about the Irish one thing I'll tell you

16:01 - 16:06

you're not from Israel that's for sure

16:04 - 16:08

she she's definitely not from Israel

16:06 - 16:12

it's an interesting question coming from

16:08 - 16:15

you uh we talk about everything Israel

16:12 - 16:17

has been under siege as you can see and

16:15 - 16:18

uh they had to fight back October 7th

16:17 - 16:20

was a terrible thing people don't like

16:18 - 16:23

to mention it but it was a terrible

16:20 - 16:25

terrible day in the life of the

16:23 - 16:28

world and it's amazing the way people

16:25 - 16:29

don't mention that but it was uh I've

16:28 - 16:31

never seen anything like it those are

16:29 - 16:33

other Clips I get to see you know as

16:31 - 16:35

president you get to see clips that

16:33 - 16:38

you'd rather not see but I see clips and

16:35 - 16:41

that was a terrible day for the world

16:38 - 16:43

and uh we're working hard with Israel

16:41 - 16:46

we're working hard to see if we can uh

16:43 - 16:48

solve the problem I will say I just saw

16:46 - 16:49

10 hostages and they were treated really

16:48 - 16:52

badly they were really treated badly I

16:49 - 16:54

was shocked I asked them was there any

16:52 - 16:56

kindness they were in there one was in

16:54 - 17:00

there for 500 Days one was

16:56 - 17:03

323 days and so was there any 10 of them

17:00 - 17:05

I said was there any kindness display

17:03 - 17:08

like did they ever like say don't worry

17:05 - 17:11

you'll be okay or give you a little wink

17:08 - 17:15

or give you like an extra slice of bread

17:11 - 17:18

or something and everybody said all of

17:15 - 17:21

these people said zero it was hatred it

17:18 - 17:24

was pure hatred so I mean that's a very

17:21 - 17:26

deep-seated problem you get the t- some

17:24 - 17:28

advice could you give the t- some advice

17:26 - 17:30

Ireland is in the midst of a housing

17:28 - 17:32

crisis now and I know you've a lot of

17:30 - 17:34

experience as a businessman how could

17:32 - 17:36

the state uh build tens of thousands of

17:34 - 17:38

houses at spee you know why they have a

17:36 - 17:41

housing crisis because they're doing so

17:38 - 17:42

well they can't produce houses fast

17:41 - 17:45

enough that's a good problem not a bad

17:42 - 17:48

problem pretty good answer congrat no

17:45 - 17:50

it's true will you put more TI on the Mr

17:48 - 17:52

President Mr President you everybody

17:50 - 17:54

should have that problem that's okay

17:52 - 17:56

yous on the EU I know this gentleman

17:54 - 17:58

he'll get it will you put more tariffs

17:56 - 18:00

on the EU will you respond to their

17:58 - 18:02

retaliation

18:00 - 18:04

of course I'm going to respond you you

18:02 - 18:07

will retire problem is our country

18:04 - 18:09

didn't respond look the EU was set up in

18:07 - 18:11

order to take advantage of the United

18:09 - 18:13

States including Ireland is Ireland

18:11 - 18:16

taking advantage of the US of course

18:13 - 18:18

they are I can't you know I have great

18:16 - 18:20

respect for Ireland and what they did

18:18 - 18:22

and they should have done just what they

18:20 - 18:23

did but the United States shouldn't have

18:22 - 18:25

let it happen we had stupid leaders we

18:23 - 18:27

had leaders that didn't have a clue or

18:25 - 18:28

let's say they weren't business people

18:27 - 18:30

but they didn't have a clue what was

18:28 - 18:32

happening and all of a sudden Ireland

18:30 - 18:35

has you know our pharmaceutical

18:32 - 18:39

companies and other this this beautiful

18:35 - 18:42

island of it's island of 5 million

18:39 - 18:46

people has got the entire us

18:42 - 18:48

pharmaceutical uh industry in its grafts

18:46 - 18:49

and you know you mention housing and you

18:48 - 18:51

mention other things I mean I have

18:49 - 18:54

property in Ireland as you know and I

18:51 - 18:57

love it it does great but uh I'd like to

18:54 - 19:00

have uh I'd like to see the United

18:57 - 19:02

States not have been so stupid for so

19:00 - 19:04

many years not just with Ireland with

19:02 - 19:06

everybody you know I looked at trade

19:04 - 19:09

deals I was telling the group yesterday

19:06 - 19:11

I looked at trade deals in term one it's

19:09 - 19:13

one of the reasons I decided I had to do

19:11 - 19:15

this because somebody had to straighten

19:13 - 19:17

it out and I didn't see anybody that was

19:15 - 19:19

going to I looked at trade deals that

19:17 - 19:22

were so bad I'd actually say how is it

19:19 - 19:24

possible that this could have happened

19:22 - 19:26

who would have been so stupid to let

19:24 - 19:29

these deals happen for

19:26 - 19:31

instance when the pharmaceu iCal company

19:29 - 19:33

started to go to Ireland I would have

19:31 - 19:35

said that's okay if you want to go to

19:33 - 19:38

Ireland I think it's great but if you

19:35 - 19:40

want to sell anything into the United

19:38 - 19:42

States I'm going to put a 200% tariff on

19:40 - 19:44

you so you're never going to be able to

19:42 - 19:45

sell anything into the United States you

19:44 - 19:48

know what they would have done they

19:45 - 19:52

would have stayed

19:48 - 19:52

here he's so lucky that I

19:53 - 20:00

wasn't tax are you the lower corporate

19:56 - 20:02

taxes to Island we are planning to lower

20:00 - 20:04

taxes yeah if the Democrats behave but

20:02 - 20:05

the Democrats have no clue you saw that

20:04 - 20:09

the other night during the

20:05 - 20:11

speech two young women were slaughtered

20:09 - 20:16

by illegal aliens one young man has very

20:11 - 20:19

serious cancer and many other problems

20:16 - 20:21

we look at the people up there they all

20:19 - 20:24

had difficulty very serious difficulty

20:21 - 20:25

but when we're talking about two young

20:24 - 20:28

girls beautiful young girls Lake and

20:25 - 20:31

Riley you know you you know the whole

20:28 - 20:33

the whole story that that evening was a

20:31 - 20:36

disaster for the Democrats in my opinion

20:33 - 20:38

and I would mention and I'd see two

20:36 - 20:40

mothers that were inconsolable as they

20:38 - 20:42

stood

20:40 - 20:45

crying their daughters have been

20:42 - 20:48

absolutely just destroyed killed

20:45 - 20:52

viciously killed and the young man who

20:48 - 20:54

loves the police departments uh he uh he

20:52 - 20:58

had cancer and has cancer very bad

20:54 - 21:01

cancer there wasn't a from people people

20:58 - 21:05

sitting there Democrats there wasn't a

21:01 - 21:08

hand clap there nobody stood they were

21:05 - 21:10

just Stone faac these people are sick

21:08 - 21:12

there's something wrong with them there

21:10 - 21:13

was no standing for anybody the only

21:12 - 21:16

thing they liked is when they heard

21:13 - 21:17

about the death taking place with

21:16 - 21:20

Ukraine that way they were happy about

21:17 - 21:22

that they were happy about that PO well

21:20 - 21:24

Pocahontas was very happy she's the one

21:22 - 21:26

that was slapped that's why I looked at

21:24 - 21:27

her I said oh it's Pocahontas these

21:26 - 21:30

people are sick they don't know what's

21:27 - 21:32

happening in the real world the

21:30 - 21:35

Democrats have to get their act together

21:32 - 21:36

and if they don't vote then what you're

21:35 - 21:37

going to do is you're going to have

21:36 - 21:38

taxes that are going to go through the

21:37 - 21:40

roof you're going to have a very bad

21:38 - 21:41

time you're going to have some very bad

21:40 - 21:44

things happen and people are going to

21:41 - 21:46

blame the Democrats and Schumer is a

21:44 - 21:47

Palestinian as far as I'm concerned you

21:46 - 21:49

know he's become a

21:47 - 21:54

Palestinian he used to be Jewish he's

21:49 - 21:54

not Jewish anymore he's a Palestinian

21:55 - 22:01

okay there's been a lot of on and off

21:59 - 22:04

some inconsistency there's no

22:01 - 22:06

inconsistency only with only with NBC

22:04 - 22:07

which is one of the worst networks on

22:06 - 22:10

television by the way let me just tell

22:07 - 22:14

you the inconsistency I have the right I

22:10 - 22:17

have the right to adjust and I would

22:14 - 22:20

call I was called by the

22:17 - 22:21

automakers as an example uh General

22:20 - 22:25

Motors Ford

22:21 - 22:26

Etc uh the big three the big four and

22:25 - 22:30

they asked me to do them a favor could I

22:26 - 22:32

delay it for a period of to four weeks

22:30 - 22:35

so that they're not driven into a little

22:32 - 22:37

bit of a disaster for them they actually

22:35 - 22:39

love what I'm doing but they had a

22:37 - 22:43

problem and I didn't I'm not like a

22:39 - 22:44

block that just I won't delay I have

22:43 - 22:46

it's called flexibility it's not called

22:44 - 22:48

inconsistency it's called

22:46 - 22:51

flexibility and I think you want me to

22:48 - 22:54

be flexible too is flexibility going to

22:51 - 22:56

be your ongoing view toward sure I I'll

22:54 - 22:58

always have flexibility but there will

22:56 - 23:01

be very little flexibility once we start

22:58 - 23:03

April 2nd is going to be a very big day

23:01 - 23:05

for the United States of America the

23:03 - 23:07

United States of America is going to

23:05 - 23:09

take back a lot of what was stolen from

23:07 - 23:12

it by other countries and by frankly

23:09 - 23:15

incompetent us leadership grossly

23:12 - 23:16

incompetent uh I gave you an example of

23:15 - 23:18

Ireland I would have never let that

23:16 - 23:20

happen impossible for that to have

23:18 - 23:22

happened but we're going to take back

23:20 - 23:24

our wealth and we're going to take back

23:22 - 23:26

a lot of the companies that left are

23:24 - 23:28

coming back if you haven't read uh we

23:26 - 23:32

have the biggest computer chip company

23:28 - 23:34

ever ever has virtually all of the

23:32 - 23:36

market they call I didn't call them they

23:34 - 23:37

called me and they called for two

23:36 - 23:38

reasons number one we had a great

23:37 - 23:42

election of somebody that they want

23:38 - 23:44

running the country and we ran we won in

23:42 - 23:49

a big mandate we won every swing state

23:44 - 23:52

we won by millions of votes uh we won by

23:49 - 23:53

2,750 districts out of to 500 think of

23:52 - 23:57

that

23:53 - 23:59

2750 districts to 500 that's why the map

23:57 - 24:00

when you looked at it was is entirely

23:59 - 24:03

red meaning

24:00 - 24:04

Republican not mean not meaning

24:03 - 24:09

communist

24:04 - 24:12

meaning so anyway so look uh we this

24:09 - 24:14

country needed somebody to defend it

24:12 - 24:17

it's this big beautiful place that was

24:14 - 24:19

being ripped off by by illegal

24:17 - 24:22

immigrants coming in from prisons coming

24:19 - 24:25

in from mental institutions gang members

24:22 - 24:28

gang leaders drug dealers pouring into

24:25 - 24:30

our country with the open borders

24:28 - 24:32

I am so angry at the last four years at

24:30 - 24:34

what they've done to our country what

24:32 - 24:36

they've done to this country between

24:34 - 24:38

inflation but maybe the most that

24:36 - 24:40

bothers me is that they would allow

24:38 - 24:44

millions of people to come into our

24:40 - 24:47

country that is Stone Cold murderers

24:44 - 24:49

Killers drug dealers the worst gang

24:47 - 24:51

members the the worst people allowed

24:49 - 24:52

into our country and we're now getting

24:51 - 24:53

them out we're going to get them out

24:52 - 24:55

we're getting them out I want to thank

24:53 - 24:57

Tom homman by the way he's doing a great

24:55 - 25:00

job and I want to thank Christy Nome

24:57 - 25:02

who's doing a fantastic job that's not a

25:00 - 25:04

this is a job that's so unnecessary this

25:02 - 25:06

should have never happened this should

25:04 - 25:08

have never happened so we're bringing

25:06 - 25:09

back our country in many ways not only

25:08 - 25:11

financially and financially will be

25:09 - 25:13

stronger than ever before I think the

25:11 - 25:15

markets are going to soore when they see

25:13 - 25:18

what's happening I I'll tell you what

25:15 - 25:19

I'm called every day by numerous big big

25:18 - 25:22

companies I spoke at the business Round

25:19 - 25:23

Table yesterday they had the largest

25:22 - 25:27

attendance they've ever had and these

25:23 - 25:30

are only the CEOs and chairman but

25:27 - 25:32

mostly the people that run run the boss

25:30 - 25:35

the people that run the top 150

25:32 - 25:38

companies 150 people showed up every

25:35 - 25:39

single company showed up first time it

25:38 - 25:41

ever happened it's been around a long

25:39 - 25:45

time the biggest Business Leaders we had

25:41 - 25:46

a great discussion went really well and

25:45 - 25:48

I want to tell you there's tremendous

25:46 - 25:51

optimism out there about our country in

25:48 - 25:54

terms of regulations being cut in terms

25:51 - 25:57

of taxes being cut and it would be great

25:54 - 25:59

if the Democrats would would do what's

25:57 - 26:00

right it would be great if the Democrats

25:59 - 26:02

would do what's right for our country

26:00 - 26:04

for a change because they really are

26:02 - 26:07

they're they've lost their way they've

26:04 - 26:10

lost their way they

26:07 - 26:12

think they think they think that people

26:10 - 26:15

pouring into our country from prisons

26:12 - 26:18

jails murders we have

26:15 - 26:21

11,088 murderers that were allowed into

26:18 - 26:23

people that murdered people half of

26:21 - 26:25

which murdered more than one person in

26:23 - 26:28

our country we're getting them the hell

26:25 - 26:29

out but who would run a who would allow

26:28 - 26:31

this happened who would allow men to

26:29 - 26:33

play in women's sports and they're still

26:31 - 26:37

fighting it they're still it's got to be

26:33 - 26:38

a 95% issue but they're on television

26:37 - 26:42

this morning I see this person a

26:38 - 26:45

Democrat say we should have the right no

26:42 - 26:47

no men should not be they're hurting

26:45 - 26:50

women they're hurting women very badly

26:47 - 26:52

they're hurting women and they should

26:50 - 26:53

not and they're also demeaning women but

26:52 - 26:55

who would want these things and

26:53 - 26:58

everything's transgender everybody

26:55 - 26:59

transgender that's all you hear about uh

26:58 - 27:03

now that's why we won the election in

26:59 - 27:05

record numbers but very importantly now

27:03 - 27:07

it is what it is the Democrats should

27:05 - 27:11

get with us and come up with good tax

27:07 - 27:13

policy so that Ireland and other

27:11 - 27:16

countries can't take our businesses away

27:13 - 27:17

from us and he understands exactly you

27:16 - 27:19

guys did the right thing I'm not upset

27:17 - 27:22

with you I think I respect what you've

27:19 - 27:25

done you've done a great job but our

27:22 - 27:28

people our people our people did a very

27:25 - 27:30

bad job

27:28 - 27:31

how how advanced are your plans to try

27:30 - 27:32

and bring some of those companies back

27:31 - 27:34

to America and will you be bring I'd

27:32 - 27:35

love to have them back I mean I'd love

27:34 - 27:38

to have them back but he'll be fighting

27:35 - 27:40

me I mean what I would say president if

27:38 - 27:42

I could if I could one second just U

27:40 - 27:44

just make a point it's a two-way street

27:42 - 27:47

too and we are investing a lot more in

27:44 - 27:50

America now and people may not realize

27:47 - 27:54

but um rin a one of our biggest Airlines

27:50 - 27:57

for example air cap they buy more the

27:54 - 27:59

two of them together buy more Boeing

27:57 - 28:01

airplanes and anybody else outside of

27:59 - 28:03

America AB that's a a little known fact

28:01 - 28:05

it doesn't turn up into statistics but

28:03 - 28:08

Riner and aircap big aircraft Leasing

28:05 - 28:10

Company Irish company uh have done great

28:08 - 28:12

work with Boeing and huge Investments

28:10 - 28:13

over the last coule of years you know so

28:12 - 28:16

and there's a lot of Irish companies

28:13 - 28:20

here now about 700 Irish companies based

28:16 - 28:21

in America glan beia and you know SM

28:20 - 28:23

what rock I was saying to this morning

28:21 - 28:26

Vice a lot of them creating thousands of

28:23 - 28:27

jobs in America and it's only fair I

28:26 - 28:29

mean that's correct that's right uh

28:27 - 28:31

that's the way should happen and I think

28:29 - 28:33

it's a very good relationship we have

28:31 - 28:35

it's it's a historic one and it's

28:33 - 28:36

happened over time we've added value to

28:35 - 28:38

American companies we've increased our

28:36 - 28:40

value they've got access to the European

28:38 - 28:41

market and they did all of that I

28:40 - 28:43

understand where you're coming from

28:41 - 28:45

fully um but I think it's a relationship

28:43 - 28:47

that we can develop and that will endure

28:45 - 28:48

into the future and will change it will

28:47 - 28:50

adapt and you're evolving and you're

28:48 - 28:53

doing things and they've done a very

28:50 - 28:55

good job now I just will say this but

28:53 - 28:59

with all that we've said we can talk

28:55 - 29:01

about Ryan there's a massive uh def

28:59 - 29:03

I don't mean by a little bit I mean

29:01 - 29:05

there's a massive deficit that we have

29:03 - 29:08

with Ireland and with other countries

29:05 - 29:10

too and we want to sort of even that out

29:08 - 29:11

as nicely as we can and we'll we'll work

29:10 - 29:16

together we're going to work together

29:11 - 29:18

great but the deficit is is

29:16 - 29:21

massive will you hear this

29:18 - 29:23

one um you said earlier that it was now

29:21 - 29:25

up to Russia in terms of the Seas is

29:23 - 29:27

there anything you can do in terms of

29:25 - 29:29

pressuring Russia or in terms of

29:27 - 29:31

sanctions we can but I hope it's not

29:29 - 29:34

going to be necessary sure we can

29:31 - 29:36

pressure we can do that with Russia

29:34 - 29:41

remember this uh

29:36 - 29:44

Russia took Georgia from Bush right they

29:41 - 29:47

took uh Crimea

29:44 - 29:49

from a man named Obama Barack Hussein

29:47 - 29:51

Obama right they're trying to take the

29:49 - 29:54

whole thing from Biden they're going for

29:51 - 29:56

the whole ball wax who's the only one

29:54 - 29:58

that never took anything from Trump and

29:56 - 30:00

in fact I'm the one that stopped

29:58 - 30:02

nordstream 2 the pipeline the biggest

30:00 - 30:05

pipeline anywhere in the world I stopped

30:02 - 30:08

it it was dead and then Biden got it and

30:05 - 30:11

he approved it nobody mentions that what

30:08 - 30:14

I did to Russia was very tough I was the

30:11 - 30:16

toughest ever but no they never took

30:14 - 30:19

anything from me they took them from

30:16 - 30:22

Obama and Bush and they took it from

30:19 - 30:25

Sleepy Joe Biden with Biden they wanted

30:22 - 30:26

to take the whole country but uh I think

30:25 - 30:29

I've stopped that but we'll see but yeah

30:26 - 30:30

there are things you could do that that

30:29 - 30:33

uh wouldn't be pleasant in a financial

30:30 - 30:34

sense I can do things financially that

30:33 - 30:36

would be very bad for Russia I don't

30:34 - 30:38

want to do that because I want to get

30:36 - 30:41

peace I want to see peace and we'll see

30:38 - 30:42

but in a financial sense yeah we could

30:41 - 30:44

do things very bad for Russia it would

30:42 - 30:46

be devastating for Russia but I don't

30:44 - 30:49

want to do that because I want to see

30:46 - 30:52

peace and we're getting close to maybe

30:49 - 30:54

getting something done we've got Ukraine

30:52 - 30:55

done and as you as you know I've always

30:54 - 30:58

said that Ukraine might have been the

30:55 - 31:01

more difficult party you saw you were

30:58 - 31:03

here a week ago when some interesting

31:01 - 31:05

things happened I had somebody that

31:03 - 31:09

didn't seem to want peace now he's

31:05 - 31:09

agreed to peace so we'll see what

31:10 - 31:17

happens Brian yes uh thanks uh first we

31:15 - 31:21

congratulate you on your lower inflation

31:17 - 31:23

core rates gas prices going down airline

31:21 - 31:25

prices going down this is for our the

31:23 - 31:28

Irish gentleman here if I can see it

31:25 - 31:31

real quickly welcome unit St you look

31:28 - 31:33

you look great thank you nice Su now you

31:31 - 31:39

feel

31:33 - 31:42

good on make America great again if you

31:39 - 31:44

could run on MGA make Ireland great

31:42 - 31:46

again what would your number one issue

31:44 - 31:48

be for people in Ireland right now to

31:46 - 31:50

make your country stronger and I've got

31:48 - 31:52

a two-part question to that as well yeah

31:50 - 31:54

the number one issue in Ireland is

31:52 - 31:55

housing uh to be honest and I think it

31:54 - 31:57

was correctly pointed out we've got to

31:55 - 31:59

build more houses we've got to build

31:57 - 32:01

them faster uh to give the young people

31:59 - 32:04

of Ireland an opportunity to afford to

32:01 - 32:06

buy a house or to afford to rent a house

32:04 - 32:08

uh we have a lot of other good things

32:06 - 32:11

happening that's my number one priority

32:08 - 32:14

wonderful are you trying question this

32:11 - 32:16

Ireland is known for very happy fun

32:14 - 32:18

loving people great attitude many in

32:16 - 32:21

this room right now that I've met why in

32:18 - 32:23

the world would you let Ros o Donald

32:21 - 32:25

move to IR she going to lower your

32:23 - 32:28

happiness L that's true thank you I like

32:25 - 32:31

that question

32:28 - 32:32

you have rosd do you know who she is do

32:31 - 32:37

you know who she

32:32 - 32:37

is you better off you better off not

32:38 - 32:42

knowing Minister are you expecting are

32:40 - 32:44

you expecting to inform the president

32:42 - 32:46

your views on Gaza considering that you

32:44 - 32:49

have diametrically opposed positions on

32:46 - 32:51

the state of Palestine your country is

32:49 - 32:52

one of fre in Europe that recognizes the

32:51 - 32:54

state of Palestine are you expecting to

32:52 - 32:55

discuss this with the president are you

32:54 - 32:57

expecting to inform him I don't I don't

32:55 - 32:59

have to inform the president he's very

32:57 - 33:01

wellcome clude into to the whole

32:59 - 33:04

situation we shared the president again

33:01 - 33:06

unrelenting focus on peace and he's

33:04 - 33:08

Envoy the president himself soon as they

33:06 - 33:10

came into office went to get a ceasefire

33:08 - 33:13

we've been calling for a ceasefire for a

33:10 - 33:15

long time um we wanted to consolidate

33:13 - 33:16

the peace that is our fundamental we

33:15 - 33:19

want the hostages out I've been saying

33:16 - 33:21

it from day one it's horrific thing to

33:19 - 33:25

do to take someone as a hostage and I

33:21 - 33:27

went to Kuts B after October the 7th in

33:25 - 33:30

solidarity with Israel and that gets

33:27 - 33:33

forgotten and I went a week or two

33:30 - 33:34

afterwards I saw the the kots was

33:33 - 33:36

shocking thing to see even though it was

33:34 - 33:38

a week or two after the horror it was a

33:36 - 33:41

village you could see life going on

33:38 - 33:44

prior to the attack it was something

33:41 - 33:45

that will not leave me um so and I've

33:44 - 33:47

I've I've been interested in in the

33:45 - 33:49

Middle East for a long long time it's

33:47 - 33:52

complex and it's all of that but we do

33:49 - 33:55

desperately need the hostages out all of

33:52 - 33:56

them far too long let me finishe and

33:55 - 33:58

then we need to cease far we need to

33:56 - 34:01

consolidate that we need a surge of

33:58 - 34:02

humanitarian Aid into gazm because again

34:01 - 34:04

there's too many children and too many

34:02 - 34:07

people staring and so just too many and

34:04 - 34:10

it's that humanitarian impulse is what

34:07 - 34:11

motivates the Irish in respect of its

34:10 - 34:13

its views and I've always been of the

34:11 - 34:15

view uh it's been our view that

34:13 - 34:16

two-state solution would be ideal it's

34:15 - 34:19

become much more challenging and

34:16 - 34:21

difficult as times moved on uh but that

34:19 - 34:22

has always been our our position but

34:21 - 34:23

it's genuinely to have people because

34:22 - 34:26

we've we've gone through this we

34:23 - 34:28

discussed this prior to you coming in we

34:26 - 34:30

we've been through some of this

34:28 - 34:32

uh people hating each other terrible

34:30 - 34:34

acts of violence carried out on each

34:32 - 34:37

other we came through it uh it's our

34:34 - 34:39

Earnest hope uh that Arab and and Jewish

34:37 - 34:41

people can live side by side and I've

34:39 - 34:44

meth with people parents of children who

34:41 - 34:46

were killed on both sides called pan

34:44 - 34:48

Circle in Israel and they work to try

34:46 - 34:50

and bring people together it's difficult

34:48 - 34:52

work what about the president's plos

34:50 - 34:54

expel Palestinians out of Gaza are you

34:52 - 34:56

discussing that with him and giving him

34:54 - 34:59

your nobody's expelling any Palestinians

34:56 - 35:04

I don't know who are you with I'm with

34:59 - 35:04

voice of America oh no wonder okay voice

35:04 - 35:09

of he feels about the president just

35:07 - 35:11

saying that he would like to take back

35:09 - 35:13

us companies Pharma companies based in

35:11 - 35:15

Ireland well I think the pharmacal

35:13 - 35:17

companies in Ireland um are doing very

35:15 - 35:20

well as as the president as a Glide uh

35:17 - 35:22

and uh you know um again I think it's

35:20 - 35:23

about that two-way partnership I

35:22 - 35:25

understand fully where the president is

35:23 - 35:27

coming from I think there's actually

35:25 - 35:28

room now we can discuss all this I think

35:27 - 35:30

there's room

35:28 - 35:31

for those companies to grow in America

35:30 - 35:33

and many of them by the way have already

35:31 - 35:35

announced fairly significant

35:33 - 35:37

manufacturing Investments now true just

35:35 - 35:39

recently like people like El liily for

35:37 - 35:41

example who have been a long-standing

35:39 - 35:44

presidence in Ireland since 1970s I

35:41 - 35:46

spoke to the CEO recently great guy and

35:44 - 35:48

um he's anounced I think about a 50

35:46 - 35:50

billion right investment in America new

35:48 - 35:51

plans but there's big investment you

35:50 - 35:53

know they've had big investment in

35:51 - 35:55

Ireland Ireland has served them well too

35:53 - 35:57

you know the workforce is very strong

35:55 - 35:59

it's an educated Workforce they

35:57 - 36:01

delivered well during

35:59 - 36:03

covid-19 a number a number of CEO said

36:01 - 36:04

to me a lot of the plants in Ireland

36:03 - 36:07

were the only plants that never closed

36:04 - 36:11

for a single day during Co not a single

36:07 - 36:11

day productivity is good and so on like

36:12 - 36:20

thats thank you so much you spoke to

36:16 - 36:23

beening for quite a while U so I want to

36:20 - 36:28

know your assessment when you take this

36:23 - 36:31

deal to him now what do you how do you

36:28 - 36:33

I have no assessment and I don't go by

36:31 - 36:36

chances I think it makes sense for

36:33 - 36:40

Russia a lot of downside for Russia too

36:36 - 36:42

and uh we have a very complex situation

36:40 - 36:44

solved on one side pretty much solved we

36:42 - 36:46

we've also discussed land and other

36:44 - 36:48

things that you know go with it we're

36:46 - 36:50

not just doing it and saying ceasefire

36:48 - 36:53

we don't know what's happening we know

36:50 - 36:55

uh the areas of land we're talking about

36:53 - 36:57

whether it's pulled back or not pulled

36:55 - 36:59

back you know we've discussed a lot of

36:57 - 37:01

the details of what has to go because we

36:59 - 37:03

don't want to be wasting time we don't

37:01 - 37:05

want to be wasting time while people are

37:03 - 37:09

dying I mean as we're sitting here you

37:05 - 37:11

probably had two people die on that very

37:09 - 37:13

open field you know it's dead flat it's

37:11 - 37:15

great farmland and it's dead flat

37:13 - 37:18

there's no protection the only thing

37:15 - 37:21

that stops a bullet is a human body and

37:18 - 37:22

these are bodies that are young people

37:21 - 37:23

and they're stopping a lot of bullets

37:22 - 37:26

because a lot of bullets are flying

37:23 - 37:29

across those level Fields dead flat no

37:26 - 37:32

protection whatsoever ever it is a

37:29 - 37:37

disaster and uh so I hope he's going to

37:32 - 37:37

uh I hope he's going to have a ceasefire

37:38 - 37:44

you you are using the American leverage

37:41 - 37:45

uh to get a lot of political issues well

37:44 - 37:47

I don't want to get into that but if I

37:45 - 37:50

had to I'm the only one that's dealt

37:47 - 37:52

with them successfully everyone else uh

37:50 - 37:54

I went through it Bush didn't deal with

37:52 - 37:58

them successfully he dealt with them

37:54 - 38:01

terribly got ripped off and uh

37:58 - 38:04

Obama was a disaster you know they they

38:01 - 38:07

have with Obama he gave them sheets and

38:04 - 38:09

I gave them anti-tank missiles you know

38:07 - 38:11

that right it's called Javelin you know

38:09 - 38:13

the javelin I'm the one that gave him

38:11 - 38:15

the javelins people don't say that and

38:13 - 38:17

then they say oh Trump has a great

38:15 - 38:20

relationship with Russia I I'm the one

38:17 - 38:22

that gave him the javelins Obama gave

38:20 - 38:26

him sheets that's an expression he gave

38:22 - 38:26

sheets I gave Javelin so

38:27 - 38:30

worried to the undocumented Irish B

38:29 - 38:33

about your Administration that you don't

38:30 - 38:36

gr the B and send the B again oh I think

38:33 - 38:37

the uh Irish love Trump we won the Irish

38:36 - 38:41

with a tremendous amount of vote I want

38:37 - 38:44

to thank you very much uh we won uh in

38:41 - 38:46

the 80s with Irish I got I got the Irish

38:44 - 38:48

vote I think I have it locked up pretty

38:46 - 38:52

good unless I did something very stupid

38:48 - 38:55

like uh drained your company your your

38:52 - 38:57

wonderful place of all of its companies

38:55 - 38:59

if I drained Ireland of all of the maybe

38:57 - 39:02

I'd lose the Irish vote I don't know but

38:59 - 39:04

right now no I love I love your I love

39:02 - 39:07

it I've been there many times as you

39:04 - 39:09

know and we don't want to do anything to

39:07 - 39:13

hurt Ireland we want to but we do want

39:09 - 39:13

fairness and he understands

39:14 - 39:18

that no that's enough Kelly

39:20 - 39:26

thank I can't Mr pres americ

39:24 - 39:28

appreciation you made there who's your

39:26 - 39:31

favorite Irish person

39:28 - 39:32

oh there's so many are you kidding me

39:31 - 39:35

well I do happen to like you fighter

39:32 - 39:37

he's a he's got the best tattoos I've

39:35 - 39:42

ever seen I don't know if I'm a big but

39:37 - 39:45

that M con boy you have you have Conor's

39:42 - 39:47

great right you know talking about Conor

39:45 - 39:49

but you have a lot of you have a lot of

39:47 - 39:51

great Irish Fighters actually great

39:49 - 39:52

Fighters I don't know what that is but

39:51 - 39:54

Ireland's always had a lot of good

39:52 - 39:55

Fighters you know why because they're

39:54 - 39:57

tough people they're smart people and

39:55 - 40:00

they're passionate people and they

39:57 - 40:01

really have been over the years so many

40:00 - 40:03

I think your father was a great fighter

40:01 - 40:06

right he was wow and yet look at you

40:03 - 40:07

you're so smooth and so he was a very

40:06 - 40:10

good defensive

40:07 - 40:12

boxer good we he was a really good he

40:10 - 40:15

was a good boxer yeah yeah box for

40:12 - 40:16

Ireland box for Ireland and yeah that

40:15 - 40:20

means you genetically I'm not going to

40:16 - 40:22

mess around do you follow any okay let's

40:20 - 40:24

a couple of more from somebody that

40:22 - 40:28

didn't ask a question yeah please go

40:24 - 40:32

ahead Mr should go back to the US

40:28 - 40:37

who Apple oh Apple's been treated very

40:32 - 40:38

badly look Apple had tremendously uh bad

40:37 - 40:41

luck I thought they had a very good

40:38 - 40:42

lawsuit but they lost uh we fought with

40:41 - 40:46

them $16

40:42 - 40:48

billion 16 billion and they're after a

40:46 - 40:49

lot of our American companies see that's

40:48 - 40:51

what's unfair it's a European Union I'm

40:49 - 40:54

not blaming you I'm blaming the European

40:51 - 40:56

Union the European Union's gone after

40:54 - 40:59

our companies and Apple's a great

40:56 - 41:01

company and have to give 16 17 billion

40:59 - 41:02

dollars on a lawsuit that I didn't think

41:01 - 41:06

was a good

41:02 - 41:07

lawsuit uh no that's that's not good no

41:06 - 41:09

the European we we have a problem with

41:07 - 41:12

the European Union they don't take our

41:09 - 41:15

farm products they don't take our cars

41:12 - 41:17

we take millions of cars BMWs and

41:15 - 41:19

Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen and

41:17 - 41:22

everything we take millions of

41:19 - 41:25

cars I said to Angela Merkel at the time

41:22 - 41:28

I said Angela how many Chevrolets do we

41:25 - 41:30

have in the middle of Munich why by none

41:28 - 41:34

I said you're right we have none that's

41:30 - 41:35

the way it is we have none uh no I would

41:34 - 41:37

I'm not happy with the European Union I

41:35 - 41:39

want to tell you and put and we're going

41:37 - 41:41

to win that we're going to win that

41:39 - 41:44

Financial battle it's a fin European

41:41 - 41:45

cars Mr President tars on European cars

41:44 - 41:49

is that something you're in to consider

41:45 - 41:49

oh absolutely I will do

41:49 - 41:53

that think of it they have millions of

41:51 - 41:56

cars coming in millions and millions of

41:53 - 41:57

Cars one of probably the largest Japan's

41:56 - 42:00

very big too

41:57 - 42:03

but uh and they don't accept our cars we

42:00 - 42:04

we make great cars they don't have our

42:03 - 42:06

cars but we have their cars they don't

42:04 - 42:08

have our farm products we have the

42:06 - 42:10

greatest farmers in the world they don't

42:08 - 42:12

accept our farm products and we accept

42:10 - 42:15

theirs so you know things are going to

42:12 - 42:17

change unless they uh do what they have

42:15 - 42:18

to do and they know what they have to do

42:17 - 42:20

they this is not going to be a tough

42:18 - 42:23

battle in my opinion not going to be

42:20 - 42:25

tough just like when Ontario charged us

42:23 - 42:27

everybody said oh they just Char said

42:25 - 42:29

this will be one in one hour

42:27 - 42:33

and they announced what we were going to

42:29 - 42:34

do and they withdrew their little threat

42:33 - 42:37

and what they don't say in Canada is

42:34 - 42:39

that uh

42:37 - 42:42

270% have you ever heard that we have

42:39 - 42:45

teras on dairy products from Canada of

42:42 - 42:48

270% going up to

42:45 - 42:52

400% you never hear that Canada is

42:48 - 42:54

absolutely one of the worst and we at

42:52 - 42:57

when I say worst worst in terms of

42:54 - 43:01

charging tariffs um the dairy product

42:57 - 43:04

they charge our Farmers 240 250 270 and

43:01 - 43:06

400% okay think of that for dairy

43:04 - 43:08

product and we charge them like peanuts

43:06 - 43:10

you know why because we've been

43:08 - 43:13

improperly run for so many years I had

43:10 - 43:15

that all settled in my first term but

43:13 - 43:17

then of course Biden you know he let

43:15 - 43:19

everything go to hell one of the things

43:17 - 43:20

we did is we took from China hundreds of

43:19 - 43:23

billions of dollars and I have great

43:20 - 43:24

respect for president she but he

43:23 - 43:26

understood that he understood it was a

43:24 - 43:28

one-way straight and you can't have a

43:26 - 43:30

one-way straight

43:28 - 43:30

one more

43:31 - 43:40

question say it count your wouldn't that

43:37 - 43:40

be a stupid thing for me to

43:43 - 43:48

say said which countries am I going to

43:45 - 43:52

Target for the next travel b as part of

43:48 - 43:52

can you believe somebody would ask that

43:52 - 43:57

[Music]

43:55 - 43:58

question well we're going to talk we're

43:57 - 44:00

going to be talking really to the

43:58 - 44:03

European Union you know I will tell you

44:00 - 44:05

this one little we'll end it with this

44:03 - 44:07

so I have a property a big property in

44:05 - 44:09

Ireland that you know well it's one of

44:07 - 44:11

the most highly rated hotels in all of

44:09 - 44:15

Europe it's beautiful a dunbeg it's a

44:11 - 44:17

beautiful 600 acres on the on the ocean

44:15 - 44:19

and everybody knows it and we have a

44:17 - 44:22

beautiful hotel and I was going to do a

44:19 - 44:24

project there an big expansion of the of

44:22 - 44:26

the place this was when I was a civilian

44:24 - 44:28

before the presidency before I even

44:26 - 44:30

thought about the presiden but I was

44:28 - 44:33

going to do a really beautiful expansion

44:30 - 44:35

of the because it does very well and I

44:33 - 44:37

got the approvals from Ireland so

44:35 - 44:38

quickly they were so professional they

44:37 - 44:41

wanted it you know it's Economic

44:38 - 44:44

Development it's jobs it's construction

44:41 - 44:46

jobs a big expansion beautiful expansion

44:44 - 44:48

and but I was told something that

44:46 - 44:51

bothered me they said sir you also have

44:48 - 44:52

to get approved by the European Union I

44:51 - 44:54

said why do I have to go to the European

44:52 - 44:56

Union to expand a hotel that's in

44:54 - 44:57

Ireland they said well that's the way it

44:56 - 45:00

is

44:57 - 45:03

I say well shouldn't that go fast they

45:00 - 45:07

said no it'll take at least seven years

45:03 - 45:09

you gave me the approval in about four

45:07 - 45:11

weeks it was a beautiful professional if

45:09 - 45:12

you took four years you wouldn't have

45:11 - 45:13

done a better job you know everything

45:12 - 45:16

was done environmentally everything

45:13 - 45:19

there's no reason to take very long I

45:16 - 45:23

had everything from Ireland in four

45:19 - 45:25

weeks and then I hired somebody he said

45:23 - 45:28

the process will be from five to seven

45:25 - 45:30

years and I said oh really and then I

45:28 - 45:32

found out that they weren't playing

45:30 - 45:35

games now think about how bad that is

45:32 - 45:37

for for your country so that was my

45:35 - 45:39

first experience with the European Union

45:37 - 45:40

and I dropped the project I just said

45:39 - 45:43

I'm not going to do that I'm not going

45:40 - 45:45

to go seven years to expand something

45:43 - 45:47

but I have to I I'll hand it to Ireland

45:45 - 45:50

you were so professional so good but I I

45:47 - 45:53

don't know why European Union had to

45:50 - 45:55

approve it and with them it was it it

45:53 - 45:57

was dealing and that's that's the

45:55 - 45:59

European Union so it was it was a very

45:57 - 46:01

bad experience I had just say president

45:59 - 46:02

you have the distinction of being I

46:01 - 46:04

think the only president that has

46:02 - 46:06

physically invested in AR that's well

46:04 - 46:08

that's through your through your Dune

46:06 - 46:10

Bay and it's been a good invest and it's

46:08 - 46:12

it's a I mean for anybody you should go

46:10 - 46:16

there it's just stunning I love this no

46:12 - 46:18

I mean a even if you don't play golf I

46:16 - 46:20

mean it is a stunning landscape your

46:18 - 46:22

people your people have restored it very

46:20 - 46:24

well and our people are going to

46:22 - 46:26

continue to work with you on that piece

46:24 - 46:28

H to do it all sort of effectively and

46:26 - 46:31

so on they had a great had a great

46:28 - 46:33

relationship it is and the local people

46:31 - 46:36

my local counselor Rita mcer textt me

46:33 - 46:38

last week to say um tell president Trump

46:36 - 46:40

to thank his family uh for the way

46:38 - 46:43

they've worked with the local community

46:40 - 46:43

and for the work that they've

46:47 - 46:51

done I love Rory I think Rory's great

46:50 - 46:54

he's a great golfer just one two weeks

46:51 - 46:58

ago he's a great guy I played golf with

46:54 - 47:00

him three weeks ago and uh he's really a

46:58 - 47:02

fantastic player he's in good form too

47:00 - 47:04

when he played with me he played very

47:02 - 47:07

well I can tell

47:04 - 47:09

you no Rory Rory certainly is one of the

47:07 - 47:11

favorites he's always going to be one of

47:09 - 47:14

he's a very talented guy he's he's a

47:11 - 47:16

very good person too are you president I

47:14 - 47:18

will I'll get there sometime I hope I

47:16 - 47:20

hope soon in fact if we meet we'll meet

47:18 - 47:23

at

47:20 - 47:25

dunb but I I hope to be able to Mr Mr

47:23 - 47:27

President does America have a future in

47:25 - 47:29

NATO what said does America have a

47:27 - 47:31

future NATO well NATO has to treat us

47:29 - 47:33

fairly if they pay their bills and if

47:31 - 47:34

they do what they're supposed to do when

47:33 - 47:35

I first got involved with NATO as you

47:34 - 47:38

know they weren't paying their bills

47:35 - 47:41

there were 28 countries and most of them

47:38 - 47:42

weren't paying and I got them to pay and

47:41 - 47:44

they paid billions and billions of

47:42 - 47:45

dollars I made a certain statement that

47:44 - 47:48

I'm not going to be involved with nto

47:45 - 47:50

unless you're going to pay your bills

47:48 - 47:54

and uh I was asked the question if we

47:50 - 47:56

don't pay are you going to uh help us I

47:54 - 47:57

said no if you don't pay you're saying

47:56 - 47:59

you're delinquent

47:57 - 48:01

a term a real estate term you're

47:59 - 48:02

delinquent you're not paying your rent

48:01 - 48:04

you're not paying your bills if you're

48:02 - 48:07

not paying your bills I'm not going to

48:04 - 48:09

help and everybody we took in uh your

48:07 - 48:11

Secretary General will tell you uh he

48:09 - 48:13

was very generous to me he said I've

48:11 - 48:15

never seen anything like it money came

48:13 - 48:17

in by the billions and billions and

48:15 - 48:19

billions of dollars and NATO became much

48:17 - 48:22

stronger now NATO's expended a lot of

48:19 - 48:24

that money in fighting this horrible War

48:22 - 48:26

it's too bad they had to do that but

48:24 - 48:27

they had the money from me I was the one

48:26 - 48:29

that got people to pay the countries

48:27 - 48:31

most of the countries were not paying or

48:29 - 48:34

they were paying a very small amount so

48:31 - 48:35

we'll see but NATO uh can be a force for

48:34 - 48:37

the good absolutely would you like to

48:35 - 48:39

see Ireland join NATO Mr President

48:37 - 48:41

that's up to Ireland well do you think

48:39 - 48:42

Ireland and the EU are too close do you

48:41 - 48:44

think the perhaps like you said we are

48:42 - 48:45

very close no Ireland in the EU do you

48:44 - 48:46

think there's too close relationship

48:45 - 48:48

there you think there needs to be a

48:46 - 48:49

separation like you said if if you can't

48:48 - 48:51

get planning permission when you can get

48:49 - 48:52

it in Ireland but you can't get the EU

48:51 - 48:54

you think well look I can just tell you

48:52 - 48:56

about my personal experience that

48:54 - 48:58

Ireland treated me very well and the uh

48:56 - 49:02

EU was terrible and they stopped really

48:58 - 49:03

as magnificent uh addition it wasn't a

49:02 - 49:05

big deal from the standpoint of the

49:03 - 49:06

world it wasn't like the things we're

49:05 - 49:09

talking about now but it would have been

49:06 - 49:12

a very beautiful Edition and they

49:09 - 49:13

stopped it which is bad for Ireland and

49:12 - 49:15

I don't know why I don't know why it

49:13 - 49:17

would take five to seven years to get

49:15 - 49:20

something approved but that's what it

49:17 - 49:22

was thank you all very much thank you

49:20 - 49:24

thank you we're headed out all right

49:22 - 49:28

headed out right behind you right behind

49:24 - 49:28

you right through this door thanks guys

49:30 - 49:35

thank you thank

49:31 - 49:35

you I should

49:55 - 49:59

have for
