00:00 - 00:04

it's November 2024 and I bought every

00:02 - 00:06

projector on Amazon priced less than

00:04 - 00:08

$100 so we can sift through the

00:06 - 00:10

marketing and occasional Flatout lies on

00:08 - 00:12

their listings and unfortunately for the

00:10 - 00:14

most part you guys are buying the wrong

00:12 - 00:16

stuff but it's really not your fault in

00:14 - 00:19

this video we're going to actually test

00:16 - 00:21

their brightness contrast fan noise

00:19 - 00:23

focus and resolution we're going to put

00:21 - 00:25

them side by side in a picture quality

00:23 - 00:27

test and last I'll do some more in-depth

00:25 - 00:29

input lag and speaker quality testing of

00:27 - 00:30

the best ones to figure out which

00:29 - 00:33

projectors are worth your money and

00:30 - 00:34

which ones are mostly e-w and as always

00:33 - 00:35

there are no sponsored reviews on this

00:34 - 00:37

channel and I bought all these

00:35 - 00:39

projectors with my own money starting

00:37 - 00:40

out with brightness testing it's still

00:39 - 00:42

pretty common for these projectors to

00:40 - 00:45

list ridiculous brightness numbers like

00:42 - 00:46

15,000 lumens and while that's

00:45 - 00:48

technically not a lie it's just the

00:46 - 00:50

brightness of the actual LED light

00:48 - 00:52

source inside of the projector and it

00:50 - 00:54

isn't anywhere close to the amount of

00:52 - 00:56

light that reaches the screen I tested

00:54 - 00:58

each of these 25 projectors using the an

00:56 - 01:00

standard where you take nine individual

00:58 - 01:01

brightness readings and multiply the

01:00 - 01:03

average brightness by the screen si in

01:01 - 01:05

square meters to get the number of an

01:03 - 01:08

lumens and unsurprisingly none of the

01:05 - 01:09

projectors had 15,000 lumens but the

01:08 - 01:12

brightest projector by a pretty

01:09 - 01:17

significant margin was The $99 Gro VI JQ

01:12 - 01:18

818c measuring 492 an lumens and then a

01:17 - 01:21

big chunk of these projectors were

01:18 - 01:22

around 200 an lumens and unfortunately

01:21 - 01:25

three of the most purchased cheap

01:22 - 01:27

projectors on Amazon were under 100 an

01:25 - 01:29

lumens I also measured their contrast by

01:27 - 01:31

dividing the brightness of a pure white

01:29 - 01:34

screen by the brightness of a pure black

01:31 - 01:37

screen and I found out that the $99 onoo

01:34 - 01:40

ay2 Pro came out on top with a very

01:37 - 01:42

impressive 4,500 to1 contrast ratio but

01:40 - 01:43

overall the contrast of most of these

01:42 - 01:46

projectors is very good and the large

01:43 - 01:47

majority were over 2,000 to1 which is

01:46 - 01:49

extremely competitive even with much

01:47 - 01:51

more expensive projectors however one

01:49 - 01:52

area that these cheap projectors

01:51 - 01:54

struggle in is brightness uniformity

01:52 - 01:56

where the center of the image is

01:54 - 01:58

significantly brighter than one or all

01:56 - 02:02

of the corners and unsurprisingly the

01:58 - 02:04

second dimmest projector the $9 igr had

02:02 - 02:06

the highest uniformity at

02:04 - 02:09

72.7% but amazingly the brightest

02:06 - 02:11

projector the gro JQ 818c had the second

02:09 - 02:13

highest at

02:11 - 02:14

69.9% another issue that these cheap

02:13 - 02:16

projectors struggle with compared to

02:14 - 02:19

more expensive ones is fan noise since

02:16 - 02:21

projecting a 15,000 Lumen light source

02:19 - 02:24

through an LCD screen that absorbs 97%

02:21 - 02:25

of that light generates a lot of heat

02:24 - 02:27

and I measured each projector's fan

02:25 - 02:30

noise from a distance of 12 in and I

02:27 - 02:35

found that the quietest was the $89 onoo

02:30 - 02:35

ay3 with a fan noise of 39.9

02:35 - 02:42

D but some other notably decent

02:38 - 02:44

performers were the voal N3 onoo ay2 Pro

02:42 - 02:46

and The Haun H1 which had high Lumin but

02:44 - 02:49

low fan noise and the loudest projector

02:46 - 02:50

by far was the extremely popular Hy 320

02:49 - 02:55

that's all over the Tik Tok store and

02:50 - 02:55

that came out at an overwhelming 51.6

02:55 - 03:00

DB next I tested their throw ratio which

02:58 - 03:01

is the distance required for for your

03:00 - 03:04

projector to produce a certain size of

03:01 - 03:06

screen and here are the throw distances

03:04 - 03:07

for a 100in screen with some notable

03:06 - 03:10

measurements being the ha run and the

03:07 - 03:13

grow view that needed between 125 and

03:10 - 03:15

135 in for a 100 in screen which is

03:13 - 03:17

longer than most projectors and on the

03:15 - 03:20

other end of the spectrum the small Hy

03:17 - 03:22

300 only needs 79 in to produce a 100in

03:20 - 03:25

screen which technically classifies it

03:22 - 03:26

as a short throw projector another place

03:25 - 03:28

where these companies try to trick you

03:26 - 03:30

on their listings is by putting things

03:28 - 03:32

like 1080P or 4K supported in their

03:30 - 03:34

titles and all that means is that you

03:32 - 03:36

can feed them 1080P or 4K content but it

03:34 - 03:37

doesn't necessarily mean that they could

03:36 - 03:40

display that resolution which would be

03:37 - 03:41

called their native resolution usually a

03:40 - 03:43

quick search of the listing will show

03:41 - 03:45

you the true native resolution but I

03:43 - 03:46

have suspicions that even some of those

03:45 - 03:48

numbers can't be trusted since this

03:46 - 03:51

extremely popular projector from pensaba

03:48 - 03:53

that sold 6,000 units last month claims

03:51 - 03:54

to be 1080p but in the side-by-side

03:53 - 03:56

testing you can see that it doesn't

03:54 - 03:58

properly display 1080p content and it

03:56 - 03:59

squishes the entire image vertically

03:58 - 04:01

which is usually a sign that it's not

03:59 - 04:03

using its native resolution along with

04:01 - 04:05

resolution I tested their focus quality

04:03 - 04:07

when lined up perfectly with the screen

04:05 - 04:09

I started out by projecting this image

04:07 - 04:11

and focusing the center perfectly then I

04:09 - 04:13

inspected the text in all four corners

04:11 - 04:15

and I rated their quality from 1 to 10

04:13 - 04:18

and I found that the best Focus

04:15 - 04:21

uniformity was from the onoo ay3 the gru

04:18 - 04:24

JQ 818c the Dragon Touch lo2 and the

04:21 - 04:26

cange Hy 320 which are all true 1080p

04:24 - 04:28

native projectors and usually combining

04:26 - 04:29

brightness contrast and resolution

04:28 - 04:30

together will give you a good indication

04:29 - 04:32

of the the projector's overall image

04:30 - 04:34

quality but there's really only one way

04:32 - 04:37

to know for sure so I set up two

04:34 - 04:38

identical 100in screens and I put the

04:37 - 04:40

projector's head to head going from the

04:38 - 04:43

least expensive to the most and I do

04:40 - 04:44

have 25 projectors here which means 24

04:43 - 04:45

rounds so I'm going to move pretty

04:44 - 04:47

quickly through any rounds that weren't

04:45 - 04:50

necessarily close like round one that

04:47 - 04:53

had the Arta y g210 on the left and the

04:50 - 04:55

voal N3 on the right and neither of them

04:53 - 04:58

looked great but the Arta is essentially

04:55 - 05:00

garbage with 25 anti lumens and a 480p

04:58 - 05:03

native resolution so the N3 easily moved

05:00 - 05:05

on round two brings in the Pensa hio4 on

05:03 - 05:07

the left and the voal N3 on the right

05:05 - 05:09

and you can see that the Pensa actually

05:07 - 05:11

does a better job with color but as I

05:09 - 05:12

mentioned earlier it squishes the aspect

05:11 - 05:15

ratio of the video and the brightness

05:12 - 05:17

was still too low at just 76 lumens so

05:15 - 05:20

the N3 moved on again round three then

05:17 - 05:22

put the CEST w3s on the left and the

05:20 - 05:25

voal N3 on the right and similar to the

05:22 - 05:27

last round the W1 13s did a good job

05:25 - 05:29

with color but the focus was soft and

05:27 - 05:30

the brightness was low so the N3 took

05:29 - 05:33

this round also and that meant that

05:30 - 05:36

round four was the lfas bl1 128 on the

05:33 - 05:38

left and the voal N3 on the right and

05:36 - 05:40

you can tell that the bl1 128's color

05:38 - 05:42

was much better than the N3 which was

05:40 - 05:44

bright but pretty washed out in bright

05:42 - 05:46

scenes and to me it seemed like the

05:44 - 05:48

increase in color performance was worth

05:46 - 05:50

the decrease in overall brightness so

05:48 - 05:53

the BL 128 moved on and that made round

05:50 - 05:55

five the lfas BL 128 on the left and the

05:53 - 05:57

nisso M10 on the right and well it

05:55 - 06:00

wasn't quite as bad as the Arta from

05:57 - 06:02

round one the nisso was pretty terrible

06:00 - 06:04

with just 74 ansy lumens and an

06:02 - 06:05

incorrect aspect ratio that squished the

06:04 - 06:09

entire image vertically so this round

06:05 - 06:11

wasn't close round six put the lfas bl18

06:09 - 06:13

on the left and the visible v116 on the

06:11 - 06:14

right and this round was pretty close

06:13 - 06:16

with both projectors doing a decent job

06:14 - 06:18

with colors but I thought that the visel

06:16 - 06:20

looked a little bit too harsh in bright

06:18 - 06:21

scenes and in Darker scenes the lfas had

06:20 - 06:24

much brighter highlights making the

06:21 - 06:26

image look more contrasty and easier to

06:24 - 06:28

watch so the lfas moved on again round

06:26 - 06:30

seven then put the lfas b128 on the left

06:28 - 06:32

and the haon each one on the right and

06:30 - 06:33

the ha run really showed off why it's

06:32 - 06:36

been my pick for the best projector

06:33 - 06:38

under $75 for the last 2 years with nice

06:36 - 06:40

saturated colors good brightness and

06:38 - 06:42

excellent contrast easily beating the

06:40 - 06:44

lfs and moving on and that made round

06:42 - 06:46

eight the gro view B20 on the left and

06:44 - 06:48

The Haun H1 on the right and honestly

06:46 - 06:49

the B20 looked pretty good but

06:48 - 06:52

ultimately not anywhere close to as good

06:49 - 06:54

as The Haun H1 which was brighter with

06:52 - 06:56

better color and better contrast in both

06:54 - 06:58

bright scenes and in dark scenes round

06:56 - 07:00

nine put the Dragon Touch lo2 on the

06:58 - 07:02

left and The Haun H1 one on the right

07:00 - 07:04

and this round wasn't close at all and

07:02 - 07:06

the lo2 had splotchy color skewed

07:04 - 07:08

heavily towards blue and pretty bad

07:06 - 07:09

contrast with milky gray black so the

07:08 - 07:12

haon moved on again and that made round

07:09 - 07:15

10 the be jovial Hy 300 on the left and

07:12 - 07:18

the haon H1 on the right and honestly

07:15 - 07:21

for a 720p projector with 144 an lumens

07:18 - 07:23

the Hy 300 actually didn't look bad at

07:21 - 07:25

all with good color and decent contrast

07:23 - 07:26

but again it just wasn't anywhere close

07:25 - 07:29

to the quality of the ha run which moved

07:26 - 07:31

on again round 11 then put the oppco B1

07:29 - 07:33

158 on the left and The Haun H1 on the

07:31 - 07:35

right and for two projectors with pretty

07:33 - 07:36

similar stats this round was not as

07:35 - 07:39

close as it should have been with the

07:36 - 07:41

Oppo looking pretty dull and lifeless in

07:39 - 07:43

both light and dark scenes meaning the

07:41 - 07:46

ha run was going to move on again round

07:43 - 07:48

12 was then the igr v20 on the left and

07:46 - 07:51

The Haun H1 on the right and the fact

07:48 - 07:54

that a 52 Len 480p projector costs more

07:51 - 07:55

than The Haun makes you realize just how

07:54 - 07:57

impossible it is for the average

07:55 - 07:59

consumer to pick a projector and in

07:57 - 08:01

addition to poor brightness bad color

07:59 - 08:03

andow resolution the v220 also didn't

08:01 - 08:05

display the aspect ratio properly so the

08:03 - 08:07

haon moved on round 13 is past the

08:05 - 08:10

halfway point and it puts the clock wo

08:07 - 08:11

M8 on the left and the haon H1 on the

08:10 - 08:13

right and again this was not

08:11 - 08:15

particularly close and not only did the

08:13 - 08:17

M8 have poor colors and contrast but it

08:15 - 08:18

also had a bright white spot in the

08:17 - 08:20

bottom middle of the screen probably

08:18 - 08:23

from some kind of internal reflection

08:20 - 08:25

round 14 has the Hal Momo h500 on the

08:23 - 08:27

left and the ha run H1 on the right and

08:25 - 08:30

as noted previously the Hal Momo's Focus

08:27 - 08:31

uniformity is atrocious but even more

08:30 - 08:33

than that it seemed like the Hal Momo

08:31 - 08:34

was trying to do some kind of motion

08:33 - 08:36

processing which caused stuttering and

08:34 - 08:38

tearing that I've never seen on one of

08:36 - 08:39

these cheap projectors before so in

08:38 - 08:41

spite of decent resolution and

08:39 - 08:42

brightness the Hal Momo was actually one

08:41 - 08:44

of the worst performing projectors yet

08:42 - 08:47

and that made round 15 the very popular

08:44 - 08:49

magic cubic Hy 320 on the left and the

08:47 - 08:51

ha run H1 on the right and again a

08:49 - 08:53

combination of bad color and low

08:51 - 08:55

contrast made this no contest at all and

08:53 - 08:58

an easy win for the ha run without even

08:55 - 09:00

considering the fan noise of the Hy 320

08:58 - 09:02

round 16 then put the the yabber E1 on

09:00 - 09:04

the left and The Haun H1 on the right

09:02 - 09:05

and this was definitely closer but for

09:04 - 09:08

some reason the yabber E1 made

09:05 - 09:10

everyone's skin look weird and bumpy and

09:08 - 09:12

I've watched this same scene hundreds of

09:10 - 09:14

times in 4k on projectors that cost

09:12 - 09:15

thousands of dollars and I can

09:14 - 09:17

definitely tell you that it's not

09:15 - 09:20

supposed to look like that so The Haun

09:17 - 09:22

H1 moved on again round 17 put the tmy

09:20 - 09:24

SP on the left and The Haun H1 on the

09:22 - 09:26

right and again this was much closer

09:24 - 09:28

than some of the previous rounds but to

09:26 - 09:30

me the tmy was a little bit dull and

09:28 - 09:33

undersaturated ated so the ha run won

09:30 - 09:36

this round also in round 18 the pensaba

09:33 - 09:37

qk6 was on the left and The Haun H1 was

09:36 - 09:39

on the right and this was maybe the

09:37 - 09:42

closest round yet but I thought that the

09:39 - 09:44

qk6 made skin tones a little bit too

09:42 - 09:46

Orange in bright scenes and in dark

09:44 - 09:48

scenes the contrast and Gamma on the ha

09:46 - 09:49

run were just much easier to watch so I

09:48 - 09:52

also picked the ha run in this round

09:49 - 09:54

round 19 was then the celange Hy 320 on

09:52 - 09:56

the left and The Haun H1 on the right

09:54 - 09:58

and again this was a pretty close Round

09:56 - 10:00

In Bright scenes but the haun's color

09:58 - 10:02

was definitely still more accurate and

10:00 - 10:04

saturated and in Darker scenes it was no

10:02 - 10:06

contest and the Hy 320 was way too dim

10:04 - 10:07

compared to The Punchy highlights of the

10:06 - 10:09

ha run and the ha run moved on without

10:07 - 10:11

even considering the Extremely Loud fan

10:09 - 10:14

noise of the Hy 320 and that made round

10:11 - 10:16

20 the vanvo VF 320 on the left and The

10:14 - 10:18

Haun H1 on the right and in bright

10:16 - 10:20

scenes the vambo was slightly less

10:18 - 10:21

saturated than the ha run but I felt

10:20 - 10:23

like it actually led to a little bit

10:21 - 10:24

better color accuracy and I was also

10:23 - 10:27

impressed with the sharpness of the VF

10:24 - 10:29

320 which very confusingly is a 720p

10:27 - 10:31

native projector so you wouldn't expect

10:29 - 10:33

great sharpness but to me it seemed like

10:31 - 10:35

it showed more detail in faces and skin

10:33 - 10:37

without looking like the yabber did a

10:35 - 10:39

few rounds earlier and in dark scenes

10:37 - 10:40

the VF 320 had great color and great

10:39 - 10:42

highlights and I would have never

10:40 - 10:45

expected a 720p projector to take down

10:42 - 10:46

the ha run after 14 rounds but I think

10:45 - 10:49

that the vano earned the win here so

10:46 - 10:52

round 21 was the vanvo 320 on the left

10:49 - 10:54

and the onoo ay3 on the right and again

10:52 - 10:56

the vano was just so much sharper in

10:54 - 10:58

bright scenes and the a3's black levels

10:56 - 10:59

were a little bit muddy and gray so the

10:58 - 11:02

vanvo easily moved gone through this

10:59 - 11:05

round in round 22 the vanvo VF 320 was

11:02 - 11:06

on the left and the onoo ay2 pro was on

11:05 - 11:08

the right and in bright scenes they were

11:06 - 11:10

very similar with the vanvo sharpness

11:08 - 11:12

sticking out to me again but the dark

11:10 - 11:14

scene performance on the ay2 pro was the

11:12 - 11:16

best we've seen yet and it managed to

11:14 - 11:17

get great bright highlights while

11:16 - 11:21

maintaining excellent black levels due

11:17 - 11:22

to its huge 4500 to1 contrast ratio so

11:21 - 11:24

with similar performance in bright

11:22 - 11:26

scenes and dominating performance in

11:24 - 11:28

dark scenes the ay2 pro easily took this

11:26 - 11:30

round and that meant that round 23 was

11:28 - 11:33

the top tro tr23 on the left and the

11:30 - 11:35

onoo ay2 pro on the right and unlike the

11:33 - 11:37

last few rounds this one wasn't

11:35 - 11:40

particularly close and while the tr23

11:37 - 11:43

wasn't bad by any means it was just 70%

11:40 - 11:45

as bright as the ay2 pro with only 25%

11:43 - 11:47

of the contrast so it didn't really have

11:45 - 11:49

a chance and the ay2 pro moved on again

11:47 - 11:51

and that made the final round the gro

11:49 - 11:53

viw JQ 818c which just recently started

11:51 - 11:56

to regularly sell for less than $100 on

11:53 - 11:58

the left and the onoo ay2 pro on the

11:56 - 12:00

right and the Grove view is over 2 and 1

11:58 - 12:02

half times times brighter than the onoo

12:00 - 12:04

which in person makes bright scenes much

12:02 - 12:06

more vibrant though you can tell that

12:04 - 12:08

the colors weren't nearly as accurate as

12:06 - 12:09

the ay2 pro and that brightness also

12:08 - 12:11

helped scenes with medium lighting

12:09 - 12:13

appear to be higher contrast on the

12:11 - 12:15

Grove view but in the darkest scenes the

12:13 - 12:18

ay2 pro did have better black levels and

12:15 - 12:20

overall contrast and ultimately I picked

12:18 - 12:22

the gro view but if color accuracy is

12:20 - 12:23

more important to you then the ay2 pro

12:22 - 12:25

would probably be a better pick and that

12:23 - 12:27

makes this the overall ranking for

12:25 - 12:28

picture quality and from this point on

12:27 - 12:30

I'm going to narrow down my test to just

12:28 - 12:32

the top five and do a little bit of

12:30 - 12:33

additional testing starting with input

12:32 - 12:35

lag which is the delay between when the

12:33 - 12:37

video signal goes into the projector and

12:35 - 12:39

when it gets shown on the screen and in

12:37 - 12:41

general input lag numbers under 20

12:39 - 12:42

milliseconds are very good for gaming

12:41 - 12:44

between 20 and 50 milliseconds is

12:42 - 12:46

acceptable but not great and anything

12:44 - 12:48

above 100 milliseconds will not work for

12:46 - 12:51

gaming of the top five projectors the

12:48 - 12:54

vanvo had by far the best input lag

12:51 - 12:56

locked in at 19.3 millisecs for perfect

12:54 - 12:57

1080p 60 HZ gaming and that's followed

12:56 - 13:00

up by the gro View and the ha run which

12:57 - 13:02

bounced between 35 and 45 milliseconds

13:00 - 13:04

depending on the frame which as I said

13:02 - 13:07

is acceptable but not great and the onoo

13:04 - 13:09

ay2 pro bounced between 65 and 78

13:07 - 13:11

milliseconds which would start to feel a

13:09 - 13:13

little bit strange when trying to game

13:11 - 13:15

on it and the top tro tr23 was well

13:13 - 13:17

above 100 milliseconds meaning you can't

13:15 - 13:19

really use it for gaming I also tested

13:17 - 13:20

the speaker quality and volume of each

13:19 - 13:22

of the top five projectors and here they

13:20 - 13:27

are from quietest to loudest with my

13:22 - 13:27

subjective audio quality score overlaid

14:45 - 14:50

in the first order the F so it's

14:48 - 14:52

conclusion time for 2024 and

14:50 - 14:54

unfortunately I don't think that there

14:52 - 14:56

is one perfect option that ticks all the

14:54 - 14:58

boxes but I've definitely still got

14:56 - 15:00

recommendations first for the third year

14:58 - 15:03

in a row I think that the Haun H1 is the

15:00 - 15:05

best projector for most people it has

15:03 - 15:07

higher than average brightness contrast

15:05 - 15:08

sharpness and uniformity it finished

15:07 - 15:11

fourth overall in the side-by-side

15:08 - 15:13

testing it's got acceptable input lag

15:11 - 15:15

for casual gaming speakers that are loud

15:13 - 15:18

enough and of acceptable quality and

15:15 - 15:18

fans that aren't too terribly noisy or

15:19 - 15:23

distracting and maybe most importantly

15:22 - 15:26

it can often be found on sale for less

15:23 - 15:28

than $50 which makes it by far the best

15:26 - 15:30

value also just to double check hauns

15:28 - 15:32

quality control I bought a brand new H1

15:30 - 15:33

this year to compare to my one-year-old

15:32 - 15:36

model and the new one actually had

15:33 - 15:37

better brightness and contrast so I feel

15:36 - 15:39

confident that you'll get the exact same

15:37 - 15:40

performance as me and don't forget to

15:39 - 15:42

get it set up correctly using my setup

15:40 - 15:43

and calibration video If you're looking

15:42 - 15:46

for something smaller or you're focused

15:43 - 15:48

specifically on gaming the vanvo VF 320

15:46 - 15:50

is compact with good brightness contrast

15:48 - 15:52

and above average brightness uniformity

15:50 - 15:54

and it's got great input lag numbers for

15:52 - 15:56

gaming and loudspeakers that sound

15:54 - 15:58

surprisingly decent with the downsides

15:56 - 16:02

of the vanvo being a louder than normal

15:58 - 16:02

fan that clocks in at 47.3

16:03 - 16:08

DB and 720p native resolution though

16:06 - 16:10

that didn't stop it from finishing third

16:08 - 16:11

overall in picture quality if gaming

16:10 - 16:13

isn't as important to you and you just

16:11 - 16:15

want the quietest projector with good

16:13 - 16:17

picture quality the onoo ay2 pro

16:15 - 16:19

finished second overall in the side

16:17 - 16:21

by-side testing it had the highest

16:19 - 16:25

contrast of any of the projectors and it

16:21 - 16:25

has a very quiet fan at just 41.3

16:26 - 16:31

DB if you want the brightest option

16:28 - 16:33

option under $100 that is the gro VI JQ

16:31 - 16:35

818c which is over two times brighter

16:33 - 16:36

than the next brightest projector and

16:35 - 16:38

consequently finished first in the side

16:36 - 16:40

by side testing the grow view also had

16:38 - 16:41

the loudest speakers and acceptable

16:40 - 16:43

input lag numbers for gaming but all

16:41 - 16:48

that brightness comes at a cost because

16:43 - 16:48

the fan is louder than most at 48.4

16:49 - 16:54

DB and the grow view is roughly three

16:51 - 16:55

times as big and uses three times as

16:54 - 16:58

much power as the rest of the projectors

16:55 - 17:01

in the video still almost 500 anti Lumin

16:58 - 17:03

for $99 is pretty incredible and last if

17:01 - 17:05

you need a little bit of flexibility in

17:03 - 17:07

placement I also kind of admit to liking

17:05 - 17:09

the Tik Tok famous Hy 300 due almost

17:07 - 17:12

entirely to its little aiming stand and

17:09 - 17:16

short throw ratio and it also has 4o

17:12 - 17:16

Keystone and a 44.4 D

17:16 - 17:20

fan but be aware that people have

17:19 - 17:22

reported some issues with the Android

17:20 - 17:24

operating system freezing often it uses

17:22 - 17:26

a Netflix app that's designed for cell

17:24 - 17:28

phones and it has almost 200

17:26 - 17:30

milliseconds of input lag which means no

17:28 - 17:31

gaming but it is pretty neat for 50

17:30 - 17:33

bucks especially if you're just going to

17:31 - 17:34

Evaluating Projectors Under $100 on Amazon in November 2024

In November 2024, a detailed analysis was conducted on projectors under $100 available on Amazon to separate truth from marketing gimmicks. The video review tested the brightness, contrast, fan noise, focus, and resolution of 25 projectors to help viewers make informed decisions. Contrary to inflated claims, the actual lumen output of projectors varied greatly, with the Gro VI JQ 818c emerging as the brightest at 492 an lumens.

While most projectors boasted good contrast ratios, issues like brightness uniformity and fan noise plagued many budget options. The review highlighted how some projectors misrepresented their capabilities, especially in terms of resolution. By pitting projectors against each other in side-by-side comparisons, the review ranked them based on picture quality.

Further assessments delved into input lag for gaming and speaker quality. The review recommended top performers like the Haun H1, Vanvo VF 320, Onoo Ay2 Pro, and the Gro VI JQ 818c, each catering to different needs from gaming to brightness requirements. The review also acknowledged the quirky Hy 300 for its unique features despite limitations. Ultimately, the review aimed to guide viewers towards making the best purchase decision, keeping in mind factors like picture quality, gaming needs, and budget constraints.

Choosing the right projector under $100 can be a challenging task, but with thorough testing and analysis, consumers can find options that meet their specific requirements. Despite the limitations of budget projectors, there are standout performers that offer good value for the money, making it possible to enjoy quality entertainment without breaking the bank.

In a world where marketing tactics often cloud consumer judgment, this comprehensive review provides a beacon of clarity, helping buyers navigate the projector landscape with confidence in their purchase decisions.
